I. Energy-Saving Processes: Waste Heat Recovery & Energy Efficiency Optimization

BoronHub prioritizes energy efficiency, energy conservation and emission reduction throughout all production operations. To address the high energy consumption of high-temperature processes for boron material manufacturing, the company has deployed waste heat recovery technology. Combined heat exchangers and heat pump systems enable cascaded recovery and cyclic reuse of waste heat generated across different production stages.

 

A closed-circuit flue gas recovery process is adopted for high-temperature smelting of products such as boron carbide. Hot water recovered from furnace cooling water and flue gas heat is used as solvent for flue gas purification. Valuable substances are reclaimed from flue gas while waste heat is recycled simultaneously. This closed-loop process reduces water and power consumption, eliminating resource waste and environmental pollution.

Temperature sensors and flow meters installed at key monitoring points collect real-time energy consumption data, supporting continuous optimization of energy management and steady improvements in energy utilization efficiency.

 

II. Wastewater Management: Discharge Fully Compliant with Standards

BoronHub complies strictly with GB 31573-2015 Emission Standard of Pollutants for Inorganic Chemical Industry and implements professional treatment for all process wastewater. The wastewater treatment system monitors core indicators including pH value, suspended solids (SS), chemical oxygen demand (COD), total arsenic and total mercury to guarantee treated effluent meets national discharge limits.

 

Solid waste such as boron mud generated during production is standardized treated and disposed of in accordance with GB/T 39700-2020 Methods for Treatment and Disposal of Boron Mud, enabling resource recovery or secure disposal of waste materials.

 

III. Assisting Customers with Carbon Reduction: Green Advantages of Lightweight Materials

Featuring exceptional lightweight and high-strength performance, boron materials serve as viable alternatives to conventional metals across many industries. Crystalline boron has a density of only 2.34 g/cm³, approximately 10% lighter than aluminum yet far harder than most metals. When applied in aerospace, automotive manufacturing and high-end equipment, it drastically cuts component weight and lowers energy use and carbon emissions over the full product lifecycle.

 

In addition, high-thermal-conductivity boron materials like hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) boost heat dissipation efficiency and reduce power consumption of electronic devices. Lightweight protective materials such as boron carbide (B₄C) cut material consumption without compromising functional performance. IV. Safe Production: Standardized Control of Reactive Powders

Reactive powders including amorphous boron powder are chemically active and can form explosive mixtures with air; ignition sources may trigger explosions once a critical concentration threshold is reached. BoronHub has established rigorous management protocols for such materials:

 

Operation requirements: Closed production with enhanced ventilation; all staff wear dust respirators and operate explosion-proof equipment; strict static control and total ban on open flames on-site

 

Storage requirements: Store in dedicated cool, dry and well-ventilated warehouses, separated from ignition sources and heat sources; packages kept hermetically sealed against moisture; no co-storage with oxidants or acids

 

Transportation requirements: Classified as UN3178 (Flammable Solids); all packages remain fully sealed during transit
